Lollapalooza is an annual four-day music festival held in Grant Park in Chicago, Illinois. It started as a touring event in 1991. Music genres include but are not limited to alternative rock, heavy metal, punk rock, hip hop, and electronic music. Lollapalooza has also featured visual arts, nonprofit organizations, and political organizations. The festival in Chicago’s Grant Park hosts an estimated 400,000 people each July and sells out annually. Lollapalooza is considered one of the largest and most iconic music festivals in the world and one of the longest-running in the United States.

“Summer Nights” is a popular song from the musical Grease. Written by Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey, its best-known version was recorded by John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John for the big-screen adaptation of the musical and released as a single that same year.

“Summer Nights” became a massive hit worldwide during the summer of 1978. It was released in August 1978 as the fourth single from the movie’s soundtrack album. Parts of the song were introduced to a new audience when it was re-released in the 1990s as part of a megamix of several songs from the movie version.

Old Dominion is an American country music band formed in Nashville, Tennessee. The band consists of Matthew Ramsey (lead vocals), Trevor Rosen (guitar, keyboards), Whit Sellers (drums), Geoff Sprung (bass guitar), and Brad Tursi (guitar). Their music is contemporary country with rock instrumentation, and has pop overtones. The band has released four full-length albums and three EPs. I Was on a Boat That Day was released in May of 2021.

“Summer of ’69” is a song recorded by the Canadian musician Bryan Adams from his fourth album, Reckless. The song is about a dilemma between settling down or trying to become a rock star. The song was written by Adams and his longtime songwriting collaborator Jim Vallance. “Summer of ’69” was produced by Adams and Bob Clearmountain. It was released in June 1985.
